Alyce grew up with foster siblings, and around people with disabilities. She was part of the chips program at her local children's hospital offering peer support for kids with chronic illness. She then went into nursing and transitioned into a SLSO (school learning support officer) role to have more time with her family.

After seeing first-hand the gaps with disability support, with her foster children who had additional needs and her nephew who needed support socially, she realised we needed more services for teenagers in the school holidays. she was also continually told by her clients and their families that they just felt like a number in a system or couldn't find quality care. So, after 6 years of working as an SLSO She decided to open Help From Home and assist with filling the gaps!

Alyce is extremely passionate about her role as a NDIS approved provider.
